Stalker, a Eastern Europeen science fiction film by Andrei Tarkovsky deeply inspired Simon's DOP Michael Belcher. Along with other images, Michael Belcher was moved by "The open landscapes with a single character".

While searching the internet, we randomly encountered Sandrine Revel's illustration book "Une vie à contretemps" - a graphic composition inspired by Glenn Gould's cloudy mysterious personality and his outstanding talent as a pianist. Glenn Gould was a great source of inspiration for Camille's movie.
